We work hard, and we work fast - while keeping up the quality and accuracy we're known for. It's what keeps us inventing and reinventing, all the time. "Our culture is wide open, just like our spaces." We bring out the best in each other. And through our countless volunteer projects, we also help bring out the best in the communities around us, too. You can do amazing work here. Work you couldn't do anywhere else. It's up to you to make it happen.

What’s the role?

You will develop and implement content for our e-learning training modules that enhance the capacity of the Bloomberg to engage in thoughtful dialogue around diversity, inclusion, and unconscious bias. • Evaluate priorities and execute tasks
  • Construct a curriculum that guides participants toward achieving the desired learning outcomes, namely understanding of unconscious bias and how it appears in the workplace
  • Develop an extensive variety of instruction in verbal, written, visual, or multimedia form to meet the needs of a diverse group of learners
  • Work autonomously within teams and as a liaison to internal and external clients
  • Work with vendors and internal Bloomberg team to design a range of diversity activities for employees; especially how it relates to the online delivery of unconscious bias
  • Be an expert in the field of diversity and inclusion
  • Assist in identifying and prioritizing learning needs of specific employee segments and recommending training solutions
  • Coordinate with D&I team to source, recommend and manage external training vendors for e-learning and other diversity offerings
  • Recommend and coordinate updates to existing training material for continuous improvement of course content and program delivery techniques
  • Assist LL&OD instructional designers in creating new training programs with support from subject-matter experts

You need to have:

  • Communication, active listening, internal consulting, interpersonal, and influencing skills
  • Knowledge of training and organizational development theory and practice
  • Bachelor's degree in organizational development, human resources, education, instructional design, communication, or a related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in human resources management, training development and delivery, or instructional design required
  • Advanced experience implementing training curricula related to diversity and inclusion
  • Knowledge of core diversity and inclusion concepts including power and privilege, emotional intelligence and unconscious bias

We’d love to see:

  • Graduate degree in similar field preferred
