We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Operations Function within Electronic Trading Solutions (ETS). You will be part of a global team focused on the implementation and continuous improvement of the operating and control environment for Bloomberg's Regulated Electronic Trading offerings. The candidate will need to focus on ensuring that the Operational and Data Integrity Processes are in place, operating correctly and efficiently to ensure accurate regulatory compliance. 

We’ll trust you to:

  • Develop, implement and run daily operational and data analysis processes to support the creation of a new business opportunity in an effective and efficient manner
  • Use data analysis to define metrics and tracking methodologies to track our operational control framework, and recommend additional ideas to meeting our operational requirements
  • Proactively identify and assess risks by analyzing functional and support gaps, including the implementation of risk mitigating solutions
  • Understand the current regulatory landscape and key regulatory regimes in EU, UK, US. Knowledge of the EU Benchmark Regulation (EU BMR) and the FCA Contributor Code of Conduct would be a plus.
  • Manage and ensure delivery of cross-functional, internal and external multi-group projects 
  • Participate in independent operating model reviews to identify, escalate, track and implement remediation requirements
  • Take responsibility for ensuring plans are well captured and execution is tracked thoughtfully

You’ll need to have:

  • 8+ years of experience in financial services, e.g. financial institution or hedge fund, with at least 5 years in an operations position
  • Clear understanding of financial markets across multiple asset classes
  • Understanding of the current regulatory landscape and key regulatory obligations, including one or more of the major regulatory jurisdictions: EU, UK, US or APAC
  • Demonstrated success in running large, complex projects across multiple functional teams and organizational groups
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze large, complex data sets. Knowledge of data analysis techniques (e.g. VBA) and programming skills such as Python would be a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environment, drive innovation while delivering tangible results.
