Bloomberg's Enterprise Solutions is seeking a Global Sales Operations Leader to drive the efforts in maximizing revenue for a fast-growing, global SaaS business. The Global Sales Operations Leader is responsible for the overall structure, processes, and execution for sales operations, and will coordinate and drive sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the global sales organization. This individual is responsible for the development, enhancement and adoption of measurement techniques and tools to increase productivity for a sales force selling large, complex client solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading sales operations and maximizing revenue growth through the development, implementation and on-going maintenance of sales programs and initiatives for a large, global direct sales force.
  • Develop key performance metrics, sales pipeline reporting tools and dashboards along with supporting process that help the sales team, finance organization and executive staff focus on key performance drivers
  • Proactively identify new and innovative ways to track business performance, and understand drivers and obstacles in the business.
  • Implement established strategies, tactics and process to optimize sales force productivity by reducing cycle time, improving sales conversion and maximizing revenue capture
  • Work closely with the sales training team to establish onboarding for new salespeople and ongoing training for existing salesforce
  • Enhance Account Planning process to increase client retention and up-/cross-sell revenues
  • Assist in all facets of sales planning and performance management, inclusive of regular updates to quotas, headcount, and sales plan
  • Focus on continuous improvement in sales productivity by integrating appropriate Marketing and Pre-sales processes into CRM
  • Own and determine the ultimate purpose and goal of the CRM tool and establish a plan for optimal usage
  • Work with different levels of management to facilitate planning, report back on results and analysis and develop strategy.

Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of experience in Sales Operations
  • Experience managing Operations for a large and dynamic salesforce
  • Understanding of how financial services firms use technology and data
  • Demonstrated success in defining and implementing effective sales process, procedures, and policies
  • Prior experience identifying ways to track sales performance and translate results into actionable deliverables
  • Experience working with global sales teams
