Bloomberg Enterprise solutions has a unique opportunity for a senior Global Business Manager. The Global Business Manager will be responsible for overseeing and growing Bloomberg’s evaluated pricing service – BVAL, Regulatory and Accounting products and Event-Driven Feeds businesses.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Set the global strategic direction for Bloomberg Enterprise Solutions Regulatory Product, BVAL Pricing, Quantitative and Liquidity Products, and Event Driven Feed offerings
  • Develop a strategic plan to grow and establish Bloomberg as market leader in these verticals as well as in the overall Enterprise Solutions space
  • Be a thought leader in providing enterprise solutions to Bloomberg clients in areas including, but not limited to, Regulation, Accounting, Valuation, Risk, and Operational Workflow.
  • Utilize knowledge of the market, competitor products and the regulatory environment to identify opportunities to differentiate products, develop new products, and gain market share
  • Provide leadership and direction to departments, liaise regularly with Bloomberg users, Enterprise sales and Engineering management to ensure alignment of development with sales needs and Engineering allocation of resources
  • Ensure collaboration with other Enterprise and Financial Products businesses during strategic planning and development
  • Provide regular and adhoc updates to Enterprise, Financial Products and Bloomberg Management on business performance and product development progress
  • Develop and present to executive management the business plan including quantifying incremental revenue and resources (capital, expense, headcount) for calendar year initiatives and including quantifying performance vs. business plans
  • Responsible for the P&L of business unit. This includes operating plan, capital plan and yearly forecasts of revenue
  • Provide leadership and development directly to department heads and throughout the departments
  • Overall responsibility for management of evaluations, compensation and T&E

You’ll need to have:

  • 10 or more years of capital markets experience
  • Prior experience in management of a revenue generating business
  • Expert knowledge of the financial regulatory environment
  • Experience managing large global teams
  • Strong leadership presence and strategic skills required
  • Knowledge of sell side and buy side workflow
