What We Do:

Bloomberg runs on data. In our Global Data business, we're responsible for supplying it – our Content Acquisition and Business Management team (CABM) is all about capturing and integrating data to provide our customers with information they need. The team is comprised of several teams focusing across: Pricing, Research, Exchanges, Product Development, Contracts, and Market Structure.

The Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and enterprising individual to join our Research Team as a Broker Entitlements Specialist, working out of our New York office. In this role you’ll facilitate and advocate on behalf of our clients to obtain access to broker and independent research on the Bloomberg terminal. You will also partner with our colleagues in Terminal Sales to help manage relationships with Research Contributors. This role will have a direct impact on terminal sales and displacements.

You’ll work collaboratively with teams across Bloomberg to deliver distributed content to our users, for product development/enhancements, effectively communicating those developments and enhancements to Entitlement Administrators at sell-side firms, and building networks across departments internally while building relationships with clients externally.

You’ll need to have:

  • 1-3+ of professional work experience in a client facing role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • An understanding of and interest in financial markets
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, team environment and to multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with client interaction in the financial industry
  • Proven ability to manage time and work on multiple projects effectively
  • Proficiency with VBA and Microsoft Excel (lookup tables, formulas, conditional formatting)
  • Attention to product enhancements.
  • Additional fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is strongly preferred for Latin American coverage responsibilities
