The Bloomberg Marketing Studio is Bloomberg’s in-house marketing and design group. We work hard and we work fast. We cover assignments that range through digital, print, environmental, interactive and broadcast projects. We also have the capability to take on editorial, digital, design, production and project management. Our project managers are tasked with ensuring the smooth running of project work flowing through the studio, coordinating tasks and activities with creative teams, marketing managers and stakeholders to meet deadlines. We handle projects across the full spectrum of Bloomberg, both internally and externally.

You should be prepared to do more “behind the desk” work rather than field installation execution. You must be able to work creatively within a budget. • Be able to follow creative instructions accurately and efficiently, from creative and non-creative colleagues.
  • Have the confidence to translate different styles of feedback into effective design solutions.
  • Have the ability to hunt for new solutions, methods, and materials—balancing broad solutions with time and finance constraints—and the capacity to educate on findings and best practices.
  • Work in line with campaign style guides across different formats while preserving creative continuity.
  • Accurately make client and proofreader copy revisions from annotated PDFs.
  • Maintain and follow consistent server organization and file naming conventions of existing structure and process.
  • Work on both PC and Mac platforms; design will be on the Mac.
  • Work as part of a global team. You should be open to cultural nuances and willing to understand different cultural influences that might affect design concepts.
  • Work in an organized and tidy manner, always mindful of deadlines. Able to share files with colleagues efficiently.

You need to have:

  • 3-5+ years’ experience in event production and graphic design.
