Bloomberg's Core Terminal business is looking for an Executive Assistant to assist the Global Head of Terminal Product. The Core Terminal business is the main revenue driver and financial backbone of Bloomberg. Core Terminal employs more than 2,500 financial professionals that build and sell the Bloomberg Professional service, which provides real time financial information and market solutions to more than 315,000 customers in more than 174 countries. The Product division of Core Terminal is responsible for the design, development and management of the Bloomberg Terminal product set as well as its position in the market. 

The Executive Assistant will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks, as well as possess analytical skills, and should be able to work independently. The person in this role must have a high interest/experience in the finance or technology industries, be extremely well organized and detail oriented, and have a positive disposition. The selected candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively build relationships across the division as well as other business areas and with external partners as well. They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial in this role. 

We’ll trust you to: 

  • Perform general administrative duties including calendar maintenance, travel arrangements, and expense filings 
  • Provide comprehensive meeting support such as room reservations, catering; building visitor badges, PC support (i.e. laptop hookups, dial-ins) for outside client/vendors as required 
  • Prioritize the most sensitive items and keep senior management informed 
  • Manage internal mobility/headcount processes, seating assignments, maintenance of job codes, and assist with onboarding new hires into the group 
  • Manage the organization’s shared calendar and meeting agendas 
  • Manage ad hoc projects and reporting as required 
  • Assist with business continuity planning  

You’ll need to have: 

  •  A minimum of 5+ year of experience as an executive assistant supporting a senior level member of an organization 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 
  • Advance proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word 
  • Prior experience with time management and organizational responsibilities

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure while maintaining a positive disposition 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary Range: 85,000 - 125,000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
