Bloomberg is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Executive Assistant to support our Chairman’s office. If you thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment, are highly proactive, extremely organized, adept at multi-tasking and juggling shifting priorities, we would love to speak to you!
As the Executive Assistant you will develop strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, exercise good judgment in a variety of situations and have strong written and verbal communication skills. You will act as "gatekeeper”, creating win-win situations for direct access to the Chairman’s time and office.
We’ll trust you to:
- Manage an extremely active calendar of appointments; manage and update contact information; compose and prepare correspondences that are confidential
- Have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion
- Be able to interface with all levels of employees and external guests ;interact with senior level clients, regulators, government officials and their teams - in person and correspondence
- Arrange complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; Collaborate on briefing materials for client meetings
- Prepare some research reports and analysis
- Answer phones, address issues and refer calls to appropriate parties’ resources
- Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns
- Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
- Partner with the Executive Admin team in coordinating the management committee’s outreach activities
You need to have:
- Strong problem-solving, strategic and creative thinking, and decision-making ability
- Superior attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
We’d love to see:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 2+ years professional experience
- Events planning background
