The Bloomberg Fixed Income team is looking for a product manager to ensure fixed income content reaches users within their workflows across the Bloomberg Terminal.

Fixed Income users are the largest single segment of users across all asset classes. Bloomberg has market leading content and analytics across a broad range of market segments. Ensuring our existing and new content reaches users when and where they need it most will help ensure our users get the most from their use of the Terminal and Enterprise Products. The product manager responsible for Fixed Income Insights will work across key stakeholder groups to effectively surface content to our users of functions owned by Core FI but also within functions not directly owned by core Fixed Income (e.g., enterprise products like AIM, TSOX, TOMs and FIT).

Success in this role requires a broad understanding of Fixed Income market segments along with Fixed Income workflows across the Terminal and enterprise products. You will work directly with teams that control content to develop insights - and with teams that own and maintain workflows where these insights can be surfaced (e.g., trading workflows for both buyside and sell side). Your market expertise and curiosity will enable you to produce detailed user focused stories to help guide engineering work and incrementally develop better insights. Your quantitative skills will enable you to produce analysis (e.g., excel, python) to help you understand usage patterns and develop tests to measure the coverage and impact of your product initiatives. Your close knowledge of Fixed Income markets will enable you to build connections with influential clients and key internal stakeholders. You will take advantage of the global sales force to bring you perspectives from across regions that will help shape your product plans and investments.

You will collaborate closely across global data, contributions, product, and engineering stakeholders related to Fixed Income. Your curiosity will lead you to ask questions and build an understanding of existing technical infrastructure and global data processes that will enable you to contribute to complex problem solving. Your collaboration and communication skills will ensure your knowledge and strategic vision spreads across the departments and regions.

As you develop as a product manager, your sphere of influence within Fixed Income can grow and expand (e.g., segment specific strategies like Munis or Rates).
