What’s the Role?

Bloomberg Tradebook is currently looking for an Execution Consultant in New York for its futures and fixed income trading platform. You will have the potential to build expertise in Futures and Fixed Income electronic trading and analytics. You will be responsible for helping Tradebook's buy-side and sell-side clients optimize their use of our suite of trading tools and functionality. Salespeople continually consult with execution consultants regarding their client’s trading processes and workflow, with a goal of helping clients to achieve superior execution quality. In addition to supporting clients to help grow their business, the role includes a focus on building client relationships; mitigating risk and driving commission revenue through the thoughtful promotion of Tradebook products, as well as his/her own market and trading knowledge.

We’ll trust you to:

With a US, Global and cross-asset perspective, you will be expected to play a role in expanding the Tradebook execution business, with responsibility for building new business and expanding existing business with clients.

You will partner with other Execution Consultant colleagues in the US, Europe and Asia to coordinate service for Tradebook's global client base, as well as collaborating across asset classes with Tradebook colleagues from other desks and business areas to help reach our stated company goals.

You’ll need to have:

• Undergraduate degree
• Proficiency in Bloomberg functionality
• Proficiency in Bloomberg trading applications (EMSX, SSEOMS, AIM & or Tradebook)
• Electronic execution consulting skill and experience
• Top Tier institutional buy-side client relationships among AMERICAS (US/CANADA/LATAM) accounts a plus
• Knowledge of third party buy-side and sell-side OMS/EMS applications
• Knowledge of advanced equities and options execution strategies (algorithms and DMA); trade decision analytics.
• Understanding of electronic trading industry best practices
• Solid understanding of the needs of Institutional clients
• Strong communication, presentation, organizational and leadership skills
• Must possess outgoing personality and entrepreneurial spirit
• Required: Series 3 and Series 7 or the ability to obtain them
