Our in-house ticketing system ensures that 60+ Bloomberg departments worldwide can receive and keep track of work requests every day. This high volume system receives a new ticket every seven seconds and updates occur every half second. These tickets, which range from simple temperature control requests to complex major system overhauls, are then distributed to any of the 8,500 employees in the system by our intelligent distribution engine. Our ticketing system also features a comprehensive suite of search and reporting tools, intricate graphical support applications, and quality assurance mechanisms.
We have adopted an Agile environment using Scrum methodologies to increase innovation and collaboration. You will use your expertise in Scrum and Kanban to lead us through the adoption, implementation, and maintenance of Agile processes, principles, and practices across the team. You'll work directly with the team to identify, prioritize, and eliminate obstacles in the development process. In other words, you will help make sure things run smoothly - all the time.
