Our Team – HR Project Management Office (PMO): 

 
HR PMO is responsible for overall project management/execution of HR initiatives, which includes managing cross-functional HR projects that impact the overall operational and technical delivery of the department. The team is the glue that brings the HR strategy and initiatives together. We deliver on transformational HR initiatives and drive consistent project governance, and risk mitigation. 
 
In this critical role – you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the HR risk program. You love interacting with diverse team members, and business areas (at all executive levels). You thrive with juggling tasks and demands in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, resourceful and efficient. You’re reliable and trustworthy, always ensuring sensitivity to confidential matters. You have excellent judgement - people rely on you to get it done - you think quickly and make sound decisions. You’re effective in communication – you know how to keep people fully informed of critical issues. 
 

We’ll trust you to:  

  • Design, implement and oversee an audit program for key process areas that identify and test risks and internal controls 
  • Establish and maintain existing control and governance structure to ensure that it is effective, properly maintained, and operating efficiently  
  • Work closely with the business and Risk Management to assess risk and develop controls and mitigation strategies for risk areas 
  • Ensure that process maps, and documentation remain current and that process changes are effectively managed from a control perspective.  Ensure that internal HR training effectively supports our control and governance priorities 
  • Perform audit test steps on high-risk areas and supervise audit activities and controls conducted by various HR functions  
  • Oversee control-related aspects of process changes and improvement, technology upgrades and new technology implementations, while ensuring that the control structure remains effective as the organization changes  
  • Provide advice and leadership on compliance/control process issues

You’ll need to have:  

  • Prior experience in HR Risk Management 
  • Prior project management skills with a solid track record of achievement 
  • Superior written, verbal, and presentation skills 
  • A very sensitive eye for detail. Typos aren't your thing; flawless execution is! 
  • Excellent reporting, documentation, and time management skills 
  • High degree of professionalism, flexibility and customer-focus 
  • Speed and flexibility - especially juggling multiple tasks and deadlines – you can shift priorities quickly 
  • Team oriented and willingness to help on all tasks as needed 
  • Proven ability to be a resourceful problem solver  
  •
