Bloomberg has an exciting opportunity available to join the global HR Technology team in support of Talent Acquisition. You will join a strong and ambitious team dedicated to using technology to provide HR the best tools to recruit talent to Bloomberg. In this role, you will support recruiters and partner with best-in-class elite technology team to provide first-class systems solutions. You will be responsible for handling system readiness, strategic initiatives and finding opportunities to use technology to improve recruiting process. As the business analyst, you will work with partners to define business requirements, configure solutions, test functionality and handle customer issues. This person will solve issues and be the touch point for colleagues across Bloomberg and within HR on programs and support.

We'll trust you to:

  • Act as a functional point of contact for Bloomberg Talent Acquisition technology, including requirements gathering, testing, delivery and support
  • Provide support to Talent Acquisition through issue management, enhancement delivery and solving problems with the vendor
  • Partner with Operations and Reporting to identify ways to improve the technology infrastructure used by Talent Acquisition
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of recruiting technology initiatives by understanding business specific goals and challenges of partners
  • Understand the technical and functional aspects of the recruiting process
  • Nurture relationships with Global Talent, Recruiting Business Partners and Engineering teams to implement successful projects
  • Make recommendations to clients on workflow/curriculum design to ensure delivery of strong end products
  • Act as an excellent teammate, ready to pursue projects large and small with a laser focus on the user experience
  • Monitor recruiting technology trends and use relationships to find opportunities to improve the Bloomberg process
  • Lead end-to-end projects from planning, requirements gathering, testing, implementation and support
  • Serve as an escalation point for Recruiting Operations to solve systems issues for users
  • Lead and prioritize planned improvements and projects to internal and third party tools
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for execution of projects
  • Develop business requirements based on input from business partners
  • Partner with Engineering to review business requirements, develop solutions for internal tools and test enhancements
  • Report and raise issues as needed; understand appropriate partner concerns
  • Conduct system testing for all enhancements, including scenario and script development, tracking and mitigating issues with Engineering

You need to have:

  • 3-5 years working in HR Information Systems
  • Experience working with third party vendors in HR technology
  • Strong customer-focus and desire to provide premier experience to end users, clients and partners
  • Ability to multi-task and run multiple projects and priorities concurrently
  • Good interpersonal skills and a desire to build strong partnerships across HR and Engineering
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to analyze data and drive recommendations on process
  • Ability to handle customer concerns and remain calm under pressure
  • Be an innovative thinker with the ability to bring new ideas
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A preference for joining a collaborative and creative team and a desire to share ideas and feedback
  • A desire to identify the root-cause of issues and solve problems

We’d love to see:

  • Experience leading global process and/or technology implementations
  • Bloomberg terminal and Bloomberg Business Warehouse reporting experience
  • Experience with Agile, Workday Recruitment and JIRA
