Bloomberg’s Global People Services (GPS) organization is an integral vehicle of Human Resources, delivering a first class experience to the global enterprise. The HRIS Analyst is critical to the team’s ability to provide strategic resolutions and maintain the integrity of our HR and Payroll employee data and systems. Our global team facilitates critical employee lifecycle transactions that have a direct impact on employee access, compensation, and HR’s ability to drive strategic goals across the company. From processing reorganizations to working directly with global payroll and benefits, our aim is improve efficiency, maintain data accuracy, in both a timely and consistent manner.

What’s the role?

You are the expert on all employee lifecycle events in Workday as well as transact on core PeopleSoft processes to preserve data quality and integrity. You will execute all global transactions in PeopleSoft, including the daily payroll interface (PI) discrepancies. You’ll provide consultation to HR employees and business reps on topics that cover a full range of HR-related policies, including position management, organization restructuring, compensation, and employee metrics. The opportunity to build a network across the different centers of excellence in HR and across the GPS team globally will present itself every day. You will identify opportunities to enhance the service provided by GPS and ultimately implement changes.

We’ll trust you to:

• Understand and execute on Bloomberg’s end-to-end HR business processes
• Process transactions in Workday and PeopleSoft and perform audits to maintain data integrity and quality
• Take on a key role in the PeopleSoft upgrade, testing, and future retirement
• Perform testing and create documentation for HR systems and process enhancements
• Support internal/external integrations with Workday, including design, testing and troubleshooting
• Work collaboratively to improve efficiency and consistently execute all HR business processes
• Adhere to established process controls and uphold them when providing guidance to others

You’ll need to have:

• Experience working in a dynamic fast-paced environment
• Workday or PeopleSoft HCM/Payroll experience
• Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to learn new systems and changing processes
• Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team to effectively manage multiple, high priority tasks and projects
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Highly professional manner, with the ability to interact with employees of all levels of experience and seniority, across the organization
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally and appropriately
• Understand and analyze business decisions to determine organizational and system impact at both a transactional and enterprise level
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
