Bloomberg has an exciting opportunity available to join the global HR Technology team. In this role, you will support HR professionals, key internal business stakeholders and partner with our elite technology team to provide first-class customer support and HR systems solutions. This role will focus on managing recruiting technology including Bloomberg’s applicant tracking system and third-party tools. You will be responsible for managing the technology roadmap for the recruiting team, making recommendations about industry best practices, and identifying opportunities to leverage technology to improve the recruiting experience. This person will project manage enhancements to existing technology as well as implementations of new tools and systems.

We'll trust you to:

  • Act as the functional point of contact for Bloomberg recruiting technology for Recruiters, Global People Services and Engineering
  • Understand the technical and functional aspects of the recruiting process
  • Liaise between Recruiting and Engineering teams
  • Understand the full project lifecycle
  • Serve as an escalation point for the Recruiting Operations team when systems issues arise
  • Manage and prioritize planned enhancements and projects to internal and third party recruiting tools
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for execution of projects
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors who we leverage as part of Recruiting Technology
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Manage detailed project plans for multiple enhancements and workstreams
  • Develop business requirements based on input from business stakeholders
  • Partner with Engineering to review business requirements, develop solutions for internal tools and test enhancements
  • Report and escalate to issues as needed
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation
  • Manage User Acceptance Testing, including scenario and script development, tracking and mitigating issues with Engineering
  • Conduct system testing for all enhancements

You need to have:

  • High level of customer service skills and experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-7 years HR Information Systems experience, preferably in recruiting
  • Ability to multi-task with strong organizational and analytical skills necessary
  • Experience with Workday (preferred but not required)
  • Must be an innovative thinker with the ability to bring new ideas
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
