What’s the role?

Bloomberg’s Fixed Income Evaluated pricing service (BVAL) is looking for a creative, visionary, hands-on technology and operations Product Manager to support Bloomberg’s pricing products within the Enterprise Data Division. The role will require the individual to help develop and execute on pricing and regulatory products specific to securitized products such as Asset Backed, Mortgage Backed and Commercial Mortgage Backed securities. The individual will be instrumental in business planning and will work closely with engineering teams (R&D), Sales, Data, pricing analysts and Senior Management. This is a critically important and unique role to the organization with direct visibility to the senior leadership of the firm.

We’ll trust you to:

• Articulate, develop and implement a vision and strategy for Bloomberg’s Pricing and Regulatory solutions
• Develop innovative and intuitive data products while collaborating across various departments in Bloomberg
• Work closely with marketing and sales to develop sales strategies
• Create business cases for taking these new products to market
• Work closely with product support to ensure that development and strategy initiatives align

You’ll need to have:

• 10+ years of senior executive experience in technology and capital markets
• Extensive knowledge of valuations within securitized products (MBS/ABS/CMBS)
• Previous experience leading and developing products for enterprise/business customers
• Strong knowledge of business processes for capital markets
• Strong knowledge of technology, data architecture and data management platforms
• Strong knowledge of data modeling and ability to work with large data sets
• Strong knowledge of bond math and pricing techniques associated with Fixed Income securities, -particularly securitized products
• Excellent written and communication skills
