Bloomberg's Connectivity & Integration Solutions business is enjoying an exciting period of growth and is currently seeking a dynamic, confident and self-motivated individual to join its new and rapidly expanding team of Connectivity/Integration Specialists in America.

What's the role?

Bloomberg's Connectivity and Integration Solutions (CIS) is responsible for the development and deployment of the global enterprise integration capabilities within Bloomberg.

You are a senior service representative with domain expertise in integration who can take client inquiries in daily basis and handle escalation. You will also be assisting your team leader who leads the client service and relationship management team in New York, ensuring the highest levels of customer service and production delivery across our rapidly growing customer base in the Americas.

We'll trust you to:

  • Provide client production support and perform escalation service to clients in Americas
  • Assist your team leader to maintain a strong team mentality and positive culture, focused on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Liaise relationships across internal business partners including disseminating knowledge and news and obtaining feedback
  • Organize and analyze data from performance metrics to improve business and process efficiencies
  • Understand the business with the ability to make decisions

What experience do I need to apply?

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in support with the ability to meet metric
  • target

  • Solid track record of customer service / client facing skills
  • Strong and proven analytical / problem Solving skills, time management skills and multi-tasking skills
  • Understanding front / middle / back-office workflow
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Working independently with minimum supervision

You’ll need to have following technical skills & knowledge:

  • Straight through processing (STP) exposure within the financial environment
  • Worked with middleware and data transformation tools using XML / XSLT’s
  • Working knowledge of data delivery via IBM MQ and basic troubleshooting MQ
  • Experience in network connectivity troubleshooting – LAN / WAN
  • User level exposure on Unix & Linux (Basic CLI to Navigate through application
  • logs) - SPLUNK experience an advantage

  • FIX messaging experience at both protocol and format

We'd love to see:

  • Competency in programming languages or background in computer science or engineering
  • Experience in leading teams and managing people
