Bloomberg Connects is a rapidly growing, free app that lets you access museums, galleries, and cultural spaces around the world. Launched in November 2019, the app features engaging, multi-media guides with insightful and unique content exclusive to each of our 70+ partners such as The Guggenheim, MoMA PS1, Serpentine Galleries, The Courtauld, The Institute of Contemporary Art, and many more . The venture is a collaboration between Bloomberg LP and Bloomberg Philanthropies which aims to broaden access to arts and culture worldwide.
We’re looking for an analytical marketer and storyteller with the technical know-how to build the capabilities necessary for our organization to execute on our strategy as we grow. With several data sources spanning marketing, audience, and product, we need someone to help automate processes and simplify data into actionable insights for our team and cultural partners. You love talking strategy and tactics alike, are a pro at using data to piece together the whole picture for your team, and collaborate as easily with engineers and product managers as you do marketers and creatives. You’ll deliver tangible insights and recommendations to improve campaigns, drive acquisition and retention, and evolve our product as we continue on our path of exponential growth.
Build and maintain a Marketing Insights function including:
Digital Measurement: Responsible for full cycle of internal marketing analytics including identification of data requirements, KPI setting, dashboarding, forecasting and marketing analyses for the enablement of acquisition and retention strategies.
Audience Insight + Research + Segmentation: Responsible for culling insight from platforms (GA, Branch, Braze) to enable acquisition and retention strategy. Including: building out audience segments for enablement and activation for retaining and activating audiences via Braze, examining the performance of each user journey touch point, creation and identification of user personas for acquisition targeting and building out scope requirements for audience research studies. Partner in developing audience research efforts including surveys and interviews.
Develop and maintain MarTech + Analytics Programs including:
MarTech Toolkit: Oversee and identify marketing technology solutions for the enablement of user acquisition and retention and insights management. Identify gaps within the marketing technology stack and appropriate solutions.
Marketing Analytics Programs: Collaborate with engineering/product on the development and enhancement of a cross-platform user data lake, including identification of required data + sources, creation of scope documentation and marketing enablement of the data lake.
You will need to have:
- 5+ years experience in a similar role within a company or agency.
- Ability to cull insights from marketing tools (ie Branch, Braze, Google Analytics, others), Content Management System, campaign performance data, and external agencies, and prepare and automate reports Effective communication skills to regularly present insights and reports with internal leadership
- An easy-going attitude, calm under pressure and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
