Our Team:

Our Global Mobile Team operates urgency to provide on-site technical solutions to Bloomberg employees. Our colleagues rely on our technology knowledge and the support that we provide to be able to do their jobs in a dynamic, highly-demanding, technology-focused environment. The team are all highly-skilled specialists who are able to assist them with all mobile (cells, iPad, laptops) issues. Providing a one-stop shop of onsite support and not leaving until the job is done and crisis's averted. Each day is never the same and there is never a dull moment.

We operate as Specialists and make valuable contributions to Bloomberg because of our expertise, working closely with other Bloomberg Technical Operations teams. We pride ourselves in offering top notch customer solution focused service by being able to understand and pre-empt client needs as well as deliver personal, on-the-ground value and assistance spotting gaps and implementing changes.

We're the calm voices and cool heads in a rapidly changing environment but we understand urgency, work hard, have commercial acumen and are customer service driven. Our colleagues count on us daily. The Role:

As a Mobile Technical Support Representative, you will field requests for all software and hardware related issues for mobile technology raised by Bloomberg employees. You will get a buzz working in a fast paced environment and love building rapport and having face to face interaction with colleagues from all parts of our business. Handling a question from one of our management committee won't phase you. As a team member we want your ideas - you get to contribute towards process improvement, creating new methods, policies and processes which makes Bloomberg more efficient and successful.

We'll trust you to:

  • Use your IT expertise to diagnose and solve routine and moderate level technical problems
  • Take ownership of the full scope of troubleshooting assignments that involve multiple hardware and mobile operating systems.
  • Use support tools to install, change or assist with various technical issues
  • Be diligent in root cause identification.
  • Get to stay on top of, and become an authority in the latest mobile technologies

You'll need to have:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a high volume technical support environment
  • Extraordinary customer service, advanced communication and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to be a flexible, resourceful great teammate and quick to pick up skills
  • Have in-depth professional expertise in mobile devices including laptops, smart phones, and tablets
  • Subject matter knowledge of mobile hardware/peripheral devices, AirWatch, Wandera, Samsung Knox
  • Excellent problem solving abilities and strong sense of urgency
