Do you want to be involved in the design, architecture, development and security of a state-of-the-art, multi-vendor network? Our team is focused on the architecture, implementation and support of our Data Center's infrastructure.
This is no small network; our Data Center networks currently have 50,000+ server connections on 1,000+ core network devices. On any given day, you will utilize technologies such as MPLS, Multicast, Ethernet, Multi-Chassis LAG and whatever else necessary. We work in small teams and as a company pride ourselves on being entrepreneurial, agile and responsive. We adapt to changes and the problems we face are constantly evolving.
We'll trust you to:
- Design, engineer and deploy appropriate network solutions for data center networks
- Identify technology gaps and develop and implement appropriate solutions collaboratively
- Create formal guidelines, policies and procedures to ensure smooth and error-free operations
- Drive relevant, strategic solutions in a highly scalable environment
- Partner with network operation groups to provide technical assistance and guidance
- Engage vendors to drive feature enhancements that are necessary to meet business needs
You need to have:
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience on an advanced network
- Extensive experience with large L3/L2 network design and development
- Proficiency in IOS, JunOS, NX-OS, EOS and hardware
- Excellent knowledge of routing and switching concepts and technology
- Practical experience with MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IGMP, PIM & VXLAN
- An understanding of network management, network security, SNMP and Radius
- Experience working collaboratively with NOCs, systems software developers and administrators
- UNIX knowledge and experience (mostly Solaris, Linux)
We'd love to see:
- Programming experience in network automation, provisioning and performance management
- Working knowledge of OpenStack and Hadoop
- Familiarity working with Agile methodology
