The Engineering HR team builds and maintains reliable, secure and creative systems that support Bloomberg while providing top-notch customer service to our employees.

As a PeopleSoft Software Administrator, you will help configure, fine-tune, secure and monitor the Bloomberg HR systems built on PeopleSoft and Workday. You will have the opportunity to support other essential systems within Bloomberg that use technologies such as Web services, Java application servers, SQL Server and Oracle databases and SAP systems. You will handle our home-grown system for hiring, onboarding and compensation. As an integral part of our team, you'll ensure that our HR services are running quickly and efficiently, all of the time.

You’ll need to have:

• 3+ years of PeopleSoft System Administration experience
• Experience with Change Assistant/Upgrade Assistant, Environment Management and Change Impact Analyzer tools
• Proficiency in Oracle, SQLPLUS and SQL tuning
• Experience installing server-side and client SSL certificates
• Familiarity with Linux, UNIX (Sun Solaris), shell scripting, Windows servers, and TCP/IP troubleshooting

We’d love to see:

• Knowledge of Single Sign On implementations across various applications
• Experience with networking, firewalls, proxy servers and load balancers
