What's the role?

Bloomberg's Connectivity and Integration Solutions (CIS) is responsible for the development and deployment of the global enterprise integration capabilities within Bloomberg. CIS is enjoying an exciting period of growth and is currently seeking an experienced individual to join the product team based in New York. You will be responsible for continued development of Enterprise Integration Framework for front, middle and back-office systems used with capital market workflows. Areas of product specialization include data and system integration, data validation, API development, transformation middleware, process management, business intelligence reporting and client-facing user interface development for configuration, monitoring and maintenance.

We'll trust you to:

Lead the product area, development and growth of technology products provided to our global Enterprise clients. Run point for global product strategy, execution of the CIS user interface for the Terminal and Web (connectivity console), as well as communication and positioning of said product. In this position, you will also involve direct senior management interaction, defining business standards across multiple business lines and defining developmental plans, priorities and budgets. Post-development, you will also be the lead for global communication, product roll-outs and marketing campaigns. Capital Market, Trading Systems workflows (Buy-side and Sell-side) and enterprise integration experience is required as well as a demonstrable skill-set encompassing technology, communication and project management.

What do I need to apply?

• A well-rounded understanding of messaging technologies and protocols in the financial sector:
• Knowledge of: MQ, FIX, SWIFT financial message structures, S/FTP
• Experience with technical architecture, physical topology, connectivity, security model, messaging paradigms, programming model, & administration
• Knowledgeable on public key infrastructures, X.509 certificate management, SSL/TLS, and encryption/cipher-suites
• Working experience with operational monitoring tools, e.g. BMC, Nastel, ITRS, etc.
