What's the role?

Bloomberg's Connectivity and Integration Solutions team (CIS) is responsible for the development and deployment of the global enterprise integration capabilities within Bloomberg. CIS is enjoying an exciting period of growth and is currently seeking an experienced individual to join the product team based in New York. As part of this dynamic team, you will be responsible for Bloomberg’s Client-facing Connectivity Management and Security associated with Bloomberg’s connectivity.

We'll trust you to:

  • Lead the development and growth of the CIS Client-facing Connectivity Management and Security product area that supports connectivity for our global Enterprise clients.
  • Be the point person for global Connectivity Management of all Bloomberg’s connectivity, as well as communication and positioning of these products.
  • Have direct senior management interaction, defining business and technical standards across multiple business lines and defining developmental plans, priorities and budgets.
  • Post-development, you will also be the lead for global communication, product roll-outs and marketing campaigns.

What skills do I need to apply?

  • 7+ years in a Product Manager role, preferably at a technology vendor or financial institution with a technology background
  • Capital Markets and enterprise integration experience is required as well as a demonstrable, proven skill-set encompassing technology, communication and project management.
  • Well-rounded understanding of the key concepts, technologies, and methodologies associated with developing a platform for Connectivity and Security Management
  • Knowledge of: FIX protocols, experience with FIX engines, testing suites, credential management
  • Equivalent knowledge or experience with MQ, SFTP and HTTP protocols
  • A working knowledge or experience with SWIFT is a plus.
  • Familiarity or working experience with an ‘Enterprise Message Bus’ framework is desirable
  • Experience with Enterprise Cloud Software and Lean/Agile Software Development lifecycles
