Bloomberg Media is looking for a product manager to grow our video ad opportunity. This role will be responsible for creating and executing a cross-platform video product suite of ad products that maximizes the revenue opportunity for the large and growing video program. The role is in the Ad Innovation group, which reports to the Global Head of Data + Audience. You’ll seamlessly collaborate with teams in Business Development, Engineering, Sales, Ops, PCM, BMD and Marketing to deliver best in class online experiences. You’ll be an expert in the CTV ecosystem, ad technology and privacy compliance. You’ll have an imagination for the future of ad-supported consumer media products.

WE'LL TRUST YOU TO:

  •  Translate business requirements into creative, effective video products for the advertising business
  •  Create on and off platform video monetization from industry trends and challenges, and perform market/competitive analysis to inform product decisions and roadmap
  •  Partner with the media distribution team to define and launch new ad opportunities within video distribution channels
  •  Own the successful execution of video ads products to ensure that the revenue and operations are meeting the vision.
  •  Provide revenue feedback to the org on the video product effort, and work with ad operations to track and improve revenue on the created opportunities
  •  Identify strategies and vendors to augment product offerings
  •  Drive adoption with sales and product marketing to articulate to clients the value of Bloomberg’s video ad product suite and how they can drive success for their business

YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:

  •  Demonstrable experience working in ad technology, and expertise in the connected TV environment
  •  A strong bias toward action and can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development
  •  Excellent influencing skills and a proven collaborator; ability to work successfully with both direct and indirect teams across the organization
  •  Deep understanding of technology and latest trends in the digital space
  •  Empathy for our users, a high level of integrity
  •  Experience and demonstrated ability in understanding and discussing technical concepts and tradeoffs
  •  Impeccable technical skill and experience with advertising systems and a thorough understanding of advertising performance metrics.
  •  Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast paced environment.
