The Role:

Software Quality Assurance is seeking a highly motivated detail-oriented individual to join our global team. Supporting Bloomberg Tradebook / SSEOMS Futures application, the responsibilities include performing critical quality assurance testing on our Futures software, dynamic updating of test scripts and processes, confirmation of software enhancements and bug fixes. You will be expected to program applications to support QA team, and liaise with other internal departments such as Engineering, Sales, and Product Management in order to ensure we are meeting our deadlines and delivering the highest quality of software to our customers. Other responsibilities include project management and the maintenance of automated scripts.

Based in our New York, NY 120 Park office you will be responsible for:

• Testing of the Tradebook / SSEOMS Futures trading platform
• Detailed recording of defects
• Project management
• Reviewing of Business Requirement Specifications
• Test plan creation
• Close working partnership with Engineering during all phases of the test and release cycle

Qualifications:

• Automation Experience a plus
• Strong financial market understanding of the Equities/Futures asset classes
• Bachelor’s degree or higher education
• Programming experience and knowledge
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure
• Strong problem solving skills

• Previous QA experience a plus
