You can be an integral part of helping Bloomberg LP grow its Quant Product. As a Quant Product Manager you will leverage your knowledge of quantitative and data models to drive product innovation and create solutions for Quants, Data Scientists and Developers. You will speak regularly with this set of Bloomberg clients to understand their requirements, craft innovative product solutions, and grow the usage of the Quant Product.

We’ll trust you to:

• Lead the Quant product lifecycle including help in strategic planning, execution and implementation
• Specify product requirements and drive product development across Engineering, Operations, Support, and QA teams
• Partner with Product Managers across Bloomberg LP to ensure a cohesive product
• Participate in Bloomberg driven and industry events and help grow Bloomberg as a key provider of Quant Solutions
• Meet with clients to gather requirements for product enhancement and client integration
• Clearly articulate your strategic vision for the product
• Work closely with Engineering to drive and lead product development

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor's or advanced (Masters/PhD) degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Mathematics or similar disciplines
• Deep understanding of Quants workflow including, but not limited to, modeling, factor creation and backtesting
• 3+ years of experience with popular modeling languages like Python, R and MS Excel.
• Ability to effectively communicate with Quants about the Bloomberg Quant offering and their specific requirements
• Ability to communicate complex information to a wide range of audience both in verbal and written form
• Location preference is NYC but successful candidate must be willing to travel (8-12 weeks/yr)
