Our newly formed Recruiting Operations team is critical to delivering an optimal experience to every worker at Bloomberg, from the application process through development as an employee.

What's the role?

We are looking for a Workday Operations Specialist to join our Recruiting Operations team. We'll count on you to own the position management process in Workday and assist our businesses and recruiters with a smooth experience as they manage their positions in Workday.

We'll trust you to:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to create and execute the position management process in Workday
  • Make sure we maintain excellent data integrity in Workday and our recruiting systems
  • Establish audits and data quality checks across our recruiting system, and partner with recruiting leads and position managers to drive accountability
  • Manage and prioritize system development requests to maximize benefit to recruiting and make efficient use of resources
  • Partner with technology teams to recommend changes to data structures, feeds and infrastructure
  • Enable convenient access to data and reporting through Bloomberg tools and self-service portals

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience using Workday and exposure to position management and HRIS
  • Experience in project management, particularly systems projects and process re-engineering
  • A customer-service oriented mindset
  • High attention to detail and strong organization, communication and time management skills
  • A consultative approach to establishing relationships, with an ability to communicate clearly and deliver valuable outputs to stakeholders
  • High competency in data reporting and analysis, including fluency in Excel

We'd love to see:

  • Familiarity with recruiting technology and systems
  • Experience working collaboratively across regions and businesses
  • Prior knowledge or experience with recruiting and an interest in HR technology
