Reporter - Bloomberg Wealth
New York, NY
Posted May 11, 2021 - Requisition No. 90710
Where should you put your money? Bloomberg News is seeking a reporter who can help answer this question at a time when the very idea of investing is undergoing a profound transformation.
You'll focus on identifying how and where Wall Street institutions, wealth advisers as well as rookie traders armed with Robinhood accounts are investing -- whether it’s the latest ETFs, meme stocks, cryptocurrencies, real estate, or through money managers.
As part of Bloomberg's expanding Wealth team, you’ll be comfortable writing on asset classes from around the world and across the risk spectrum. You will shine a spotlight on the biggest investment opportunities for readers and what they should be looking for to avoid getting ripped off.
You should be a strong writer and reporter who’s comfortable producing quick, smart and witty pieces, in addition to richly detailed longer-form and investigative features. We're looking for a self-starter with a passion for demystifying markets and making them relevant to readers’ lives.
You'll need to have:
- A minimum of three years reporting experience
- Ideas for new and exciting ways to capture the reader's imagination
- Sound news judgement and a talent for looking beyond the obvious story
- A willingness to work well within a team and with others across the newsroom
- Digital and multimedia skills, and a strong visual sensibility
- A sense of humor is welcome
If this sounds like you, apply today! We're eager to speak with you.
