Our products, Entity Exchange and Entity Intelligence, provide our clients’ ways to optimize workflows, satisfy KYC regulatory laws, receive proactive notifications, and ultimately reduce the friction of doing business.

Our SRE team is critical to keeping these services stable and optimized so that they are always available for our clients. In addition to supporting our production environment, we’re trusted to create and leverage software solutions to automate and improve manual production processes to increase efficiency, optimize workflows, and reduce time to delivery.

What’s in it for you:

You will drive the automation of our production operations; everything from reaction to failures, deployment, testing, and quality checks. We’ll look to you to ensure the optimal availability, latency, scalability, and efficiency of all our client-facing applications. You will take ownership of our production environment including the initial design phases and iterative improvements, and we’ll expect you to ensure continuous high availability. We’ll also depend on you to working alongside other engineers to help triage, debug, and fix issues with the production environment.

We’ll trust you to:

• Manage a production environment, including monitoring, triage, and troubleshoot production problems as they occur
• Develop and maintain tools to improve manual workflows related to monitoring, deployment, capacity management, and alerting
• Automate manual workflows
• Improve transparency and create SLA reports on the performance of the production environments
• Work closely with software application engineers to ensure applications continue to run reliably in the production environments
• Set direction and create solutions at a high-level as well as make progress by solving problems through iteration

You’ll need to have:

• Experience developing and deploying websites and/or web services -- what the team supports
• Experience with scripting languages and automation in python, perl or shell
• Demonstrated understanding of scalable production environments, distributed systems, network topography, and experience triaging and solving problems associated with them
• Experience installing and managing software packages, handling dependencies, and failure, consistency, and recovery scenarios
• Experience provisioning containers, jails, slices, or virtual machines
• Good time management, communication, and coordination skills
• Experience working in unix/linux environments
• BA, BS, MS, PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or related technology field
