What’s the role?

As a key member of the Tradebook Sales Account Manager (SAM) team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, with a specific focus on U.S. options. You’ll be building deep relationships and driving commission revenue and product adoption within your account base. Armed with your considerable market and trading knowledge & understanding of Tradebook product suite, you’ll be able to have fruitful dialogue with your accounts around their workflow, their business strategy and their business needs. You'll also play a role in influencing the direction of our products by providing feedback on user workflow demand, competitor intelligence, and market trends.

You’ll demonstrate credibility with a deep understanding of the buyside community, and expertise in electronic and algorithmic trading. You’ll have a good grasp of the financial markets, possess cross asset/cross product knowledge, familiarity of the various trading process including STP, OMS connectivity, CMS and have a consultative selling approach adaptable to all client types.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Sell both options and equity solutions to our buy and sell side user base
  • Own the active client relationships and drive usage of product functionality, and generate increased order flow
  • Provide clients with qualitative market data and ‘added value’ insight related to their portfolio
  • Articulate the value proposition of Tradebook, and partner with the New Business Sales team to add specialist knowledge during the sales process (pre-sales duties)
  • Identify upsell opportunities and partner with specialists internally (Quants, Product Mgnt, Engineering etc) to close those opportunities
  • Consult with clients to proactively understand what order type to pitch in a particular market
  • Ensure best execution for client by proactively engaging Execution Services Desk for high touch orders
  • Provide market insights to Product to inform longer term development opportunities
  • Take on adhoc projects when required, eg client migrations from legacy to new technology

We’ll need you to have:

  • Execution and Trading background
  • In-depth understanding of the full trading life-cycle
  • Understanding of our client’s needs and workflow
  • An ability to spot trading opportunities for incremental revenue growth
  • Understanding of all trade order types, algo trading and market knowledge
  • Knowledge of the regulatory landscape and how they affect Tradebook and our clients
  • An ability to proactively build, maintain and grow fruitful relationships
  • Quantitative analysis / data & analytics

We’d also love to see;

  • Institutional buyside relationships
  • Working knowledge of the Bloomberg Professional Service
