As a Scrum Master at Bloomberg, you will be critical to the adoption, implementation and maintenance of Agile processes, principles and practices across the company. You'll work directly with the teams to identify, prioritize and remove impediments in the development process. In other words, you will help make sure things run smoothly - all the time.We'll trust you to:- Facilitate meetings and discussions toward open and clear communication- Keep artifacts organized, updated and visible- Grow your skillset, learn new tools and techniques, and proactively develop innovative solutions- Optimize processes and relationships across the organization, identify opportunities and suggest improvements- Actively engage with the teams and embodies the spirit of "All hands on deck"- Perform ongoing assessments of the teams' Scrum maturity and implement iterations as needed- Cultivate communities of practice- Partner with product owners to ensure vision, road-map and personas are well defined- Help teams continuously reflect and improve, becoming more effective in their roles and increasing their predictability, collaboration and quality practices- Ensure adherence to Agile methodology including sprint events (stand-ups, demos, retrospectives), road-mapping, backlog management (definition, grooming, prioritization), sizing and task estimation and velocity trackingYou'll need to have:- 2+ years of experience practicing Scrum and Lean Startup methodologies- Exposure to real-world Scrum, guiding at least two organizations through Scrum adoption- Professional experience as a hands-on software developer- Demonstrated experience with change management across multiple teams, products, environments and technologies- Familiarity with SAFe, LeSS or other approaches for scaling Agile- Working knowledge of Atlassian tools- The ability to travel if neededWe'd love to see:- Scrum Master experience at a Fortune 500 company- Desire for ongoing education in Agile framework, including training's, conferences, user group participation and self-study
