This role requires a senior sales professional responsible for client facing relationships representing Bloomberg's high profile series of conferences. The Bloomberg Live brand convenes the financial elite globally, providing engaging editorially driven content, while bringing the brand of Bloomberg to life. Our conferences provide clients the opportunity as sponsors to position their company as leaders with vision aligned to important themes, and also to develop and strengthen business relationships.

The ability to ideate and innovate collaboratively, generating a positive revenue or share growth across Bloomberg media is important. This position will require a creative sales professional to work well both externally and internally, keeping the client's and Bloomberg's priorities in mind. This person will also have the skill to develop effective event driven activations that also protect the editorial integrity of our brand. Renewing existing business and hunting for new client revenue will be extremely important.

Event Sales leads undertake a duel role of partnering with their cross platform sales colleagues, as an event expert, and aggressively prospecting to developing new business by securing sponsorship budgets directly from clients.

You Will Need to Have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with the following desired: Cross platform selling; conference sponsorship experience
  • Significant and strong client relationships at all levels
  • Track record of total revenue and platform revenue growth
  • Creative ideating that generates renewable and successful partnerships with the client
  • Coverage of the entire client and agency relationship including ALL levels
  • Internal and external communication at a highly productive and seamless level
  • Ability to prospect and develop new business
  • Strong understanding of media advertising landscape
  • Self-motivated; enthusiastic; strong standout colleague
  • Capable of multitasking and working in an exciting environment
  • Passion for media, advertising and business
  • Ability to work with C level clients
  • 10+ years of sales / management experience
