Our team:

We develop and enhance Bloomberg’s Real-Time Data Access Control System. This system allows access to real-time entitlements, manages overall administration of the Exchange Master Data and provides detailed analytical reporting. We build applications that help both our external customers and internal employees manage their real-time exchange entitlements and find the exchange information they need.

We are currently revamping the Entitlement Platform by introducing concepts of role-based entitlements, streamlining workflows and providing greater transparency of the cost involved. This platform will allow for the further customization of data sets by internal role and job function, and offer its management based on actual data usage.

We'll trust you to:

• Balance teamwork and independent research
• Work across the full stack and be comfortable learning about and supporting different parts of the system
• Fix bugs and defects found in the application
• Effectively roll out new features using an Agile methodology

You need to have:

• 3+ years of experience programming in C/C++
• 3+ years of experience working in UNIX/Linux or Windows development environments
• A passion for design, problem solving and hands-on software development
• A strong knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, systems and applications programming
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Familiarity with JavaScript, C# and Web Services
