What’s the role?

We’re looking for a dynamic Benefits Manager to join our Global Benefits team, as part of the larger Human Resources Enterprise team. You will take ownership for the analysis and administration of retirement, health, wealth and work/life benefit policies and programs across the Americas. You will bring strong analytical skills, have experience making decisions with significant financial impact and the ability to reason and exercise sound judgment. Your excellent project management, communication and relationship building skills will set you up for success. The role is challenging but fun!

We’ll trust you to:

  • Drive plan design improvements and changes by conducting financial and employee impact, as well as competitive positioning
  • Monitor, analyze and research utilization reports and trends for various benefit programs
  • Proactively suggest improvements based on feedback, claims trends and market practice
  • Independently research a variety of related complex information requests and issues
  • Act as point of contact for complex employee benefits questions
  • Manage implementation of new plans, programs, policies and plan designs
  • Manage integrated retirement, health, welfare and wellness related projects
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with benefits consultants, vendors and providers daily
  • Partner with vendors to ensure customer service standards are adhered to
  • Ensure operational and administrative processes are effective; identify and implement process improvements
  • Build and maintain a good working knowledge of benefits legislation, industry standards and methodologies, incorporating standards into processes and procedures
  • Conduct audits for internal benefit programs
  • Manage the communication of existing and new programs as well as all benefits compliance related communication (e.g. Summary Plan Descriptions, Summary Annual Reports, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate benefits information on the HR Intranet

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in all benefits administration with an expertise in Retirement/401(k) plans
  • Experience in plan design and implementation
  • Experience of working in a dynamic pressurized environment
  • Strong analytical/critical thinking skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to work independently in completing tasks and projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to analyze reports and participate in technical problem resolution
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Timeliness in execution
  • Creativity, flexibility, dependability and time management

We'd love to see:

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skill
  • Knowledge of analysis and reporting
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a corporate benefits setting for a minimum of 10 years
  • Experience working collaboratively
