What’s the role?

As a Senior Business Analyst you will play a key role within the Business Analyst team, working in a dynamic and challenging environment within an industry leading global fintech organization. You will work closely with client services to deliver solutions to internal and external clients, play a key role with the configuration of a sophisticated data management product and interface internally with the product and R&D teams.

Key aspects of the role:

Client Facing

• Develop a deep understanding of the BDMS Product set, components and features
• Develop a deep understanding of Bloomberg data and other industry vendor data
• Understand how the BDMS product platform can be configured to meet the Client’s requirements
• Conduct product demos and training sessions
• Assist in the knowledge transfer to Clients in the use of key BDMS components and features
• Work with Clients to elicit, collect, analyse, refine and document their configuration and data requirements
• Collaborate with internal and Client team members throughout the on-boarding process to ensure a timely and quality deliverable
• Participate in Client workshops, trials and implementation meetings
• Become the internal business lead for Client related engagements
• Contribute to the development of a successful and effective Client relationship

Business Analysis Team Development

• Sharing and building of knowledge, development of close working relationship within the Business Analysis teams within the various global locations
• Contribution to the creation of best practices through the identification of process and procedure enhancements and new ideas

Support of Product Development

• Provide appropriate feedback on product enhancements and requirements
• Contribute to the strategic design and development of new BDMS product features
• Participate in the strategic development of the BDMS core data model

Required Experience:

• Ideally have a minimum of 7 years’ experience within the financial industry
• Requires proficiency and in-depth data and workflow knowledge within the following areas:
• Securities and Investment banking industry (Security Master, Entity Master, Pricing, ESG data, Index Data, Corporate Actions)
• Experience working with Vendor and Market Data feeds (Bloomberg Data License and/or other related industry data)
• Solid familiarity with a wide range of investment asset classes
• Demonstrate a high degree of analytical / data analysis skills
• A proven track record within the financial, investment, banking or fintech industries
• Broad business insight and an understanding of enterprise data management, software development and upgrade procedures in a cloud computing environment
