We’re looking for an experienced Sr. Creative Lead / Video Director to join our Global Media Marketing group. The Video Lead is an integral contributor to projects on both a conceptual and executional level. Working with internal partners, the Video Lead is responsible for producing engaging, award-winning short-form content that meets our clients’ brand objectives. External clients include premier brands in Finance, Technology, Luxury, Beauty, Auto, and more. Recent highlights include integrated content campaigns for Porsche and UBS, as well as a video series for Glenmorangie.

This a hands-on creative role that drives end-to-end video production, from concept and script development, storyboards or style frames, directing, filming, editing, and post-production. This role will also help lead the development of sales and marketing videos.

The ideal candidate possesses great storytelling instincts, a sophisticated aesthetic, technical expertise, a desire to be part of a creative team, and an entrepreneurial mindset. You must have the ability to inspire and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients.

You’ll be expected to:

  • Partner with internal creatives, editorial team, account managers, and external vendors to produce short-form branded content from external clients
  • Partner with internal creatives, sales and marketing partners to produce promotional videos, including sizzles, recaps, case studies, testimonials, etc.
  • Shoot and edit original videos, traveling to locations when necessary
  • Edit existing content into compelling videos
  • Source and implement stock footage, music and audio FX to enhance production quality
  • Supervise end-to-end video production, including day-to-day management of video editors and motion graphics designers, as well as creative reviews with external vendors
  • Collaborate with creative team to produce integrated content campaigns across platforms
  • Partner with Producer and Project Manager to meet deadlines and budgets, while maintaining high quality standards and production value
  • Develop and pitch creative concepts in response to RFPs
  • Write creative briefs, outlines, and scripts when necessary

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Design, Film, Media, Communications or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience as Video Director or Creative Director at a media company, agency, or production company
  • Demonstrated history of high-quality, high-impact short-form content creation
  • Demonstrated video camera operation experience with an emphasis on narrative and a proficiency and comfort shooting on location
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
  • Experience in design, motion graphics and data visualization
  • Deep understanding of established and emerging trends in content consumption and audience habits
  • Excellent organizational skills, and incredible attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to direct multiple projects with parallel schedules
  • Excellent communication skills (public speaking, writing, effective listening)
  • Ability to articulate ideas, and deliver, receive, and interpret feedback.
  • Ability to thrive within a fast-paced environment. Able to adapt and learn new skills as necessary.
