Bloomberg’s Global Media Marketing group is responsible for creating internal brand and custom content experiences across all platforms. The creative team is seeking a passionate inventive designer who specializes in motion and digital graphics to join the Global Media Marketing Group. You will skillfully develop sophisticated motion graphics packages, as well as incorporate music and sound to bring a story to life for all media platforms ranging from brand projects to custom content. As a member of this team, you understand branding and storytelling and will execute the end-to-end video production workflow from storyboards to final edit. We want someone who’s passionate about design, and is always up for a challenge!

You will be Able to:

· Understand how to tell an impactful story through motion
· Illustrate and animate graphics ranging from title cards to full illustrative stories
· Utilize a wide range of styles to accommodate a diverse roster of clients
· Design high quality motion graphics for video, including sizzle reels, recap videos, native content, and presentations
· Collaborate closely with design team and internal partners
· Brainstorm concepts and how they pace through an experience
· Translate graphics into motion for social media, videos, web based platforms, as well as PowerPoint presentations
· Inform the graphics with a sophisticated modern aesthetic
· Develop storyboards, style frames, and video mock-ups for client pitches
· Ensure all deliverables meet deadlines and business requirements
· Effectively multi-task between multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities

You need to have/be:

· BA/BS (or its equivalent) in graphic design/advertising is required
· Minimum 7 years of professional design experience
· Successful experience within a high-volume creative workflow
· Smart, critical thinker with strong initiative and problem-solving skills
· Great teammate who can take a lead and develop independently
· Excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects under strict deadline
· Collaborate with multiple internal partners and credible executives
· Experience in agency work a plus
· Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, PowerPoint, Excel, Premiere, After Effects. 3D software (Maya, Max, Cinema4D) a plus
· Advanced motion skills
· Deep knowledge base of print, video, and digital production practices
· Strong skills in typographic execution
· Experience using a digital CMS such as Ceros, Squarespace, or WordPress a plus
