You will work with Software Engineers from Bloomberg Media building systems that process Terabytes of data for 100s of millions of users to provide them with a personalized experience. With Bloomberg's news, video and market data at your fingertips, you will work with cutting edge Big Data technologies and apply Machine Learning algorithms to drive the user experience. In this role you will frequently switch between different technologies (we use Hadoop, HBase, Spark, Java, Python, Javascript, NodeJS, Ruby on Rails, MySQL and others).

You should have:

• 3 years experience in Predictive Analytics, Data Mining, Recommendation Systems and/or Natural Language Processing
• You are able to apply Machine Learning theory to solve practical problems
• You are able to lead projects involving Machine Learning from incubation to large scale production deployments
• 1 year of OOD experience working on backend systems
• Experience working with and evaluating open source technologies and demonstrated ability to make objective choices
