Bloomberg BusinessWeek is at the centerpiece of that strategy. The brand carries the DNA of Bloomberg News - factual, reliable, credible, authoritative, lightning-fast journalism at a global scale and of BusinessWeek - with the hallmark design and deep, insightful, sharp reporting.
Bloomberg Media has already achieved strong growth in overall revenue across multiple platforms including TV, digital, radio, and event sponsorships. A key focus area for 2017 is on scaling readership and revenue from Bloomberg’s print subscription products - including Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Briefs, and Markets magazines.
The Consumer Subscription Business, within the Bloomberg Media group, is looking for a strong marketer to develop and execute innovative strategies to increase brand awareness and scale paid readership amongst key, under-penetrated segments. You will manage key digital acquisition efforts to build a warm pool of engaged prospects, which we will nurture and convert into customers over time.
You will achieve audience growth by partnering with the social media team to build out our brand following and engagement on key social platforms; identifying and executing content distribution opportunities; identifying and managing strategic partnership marketing opportunities; managing display media and programmatic retargeting programs; creating strategic opportunities to reach relevant audiences at Bloomberg events, etc. You will also work closely with external agencies and internal stakeholders to build strategic and effective marketing programs to meet our aggressive business goals.
You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be able to balance multiple priorities. He/she must be a creative, innovative thinker who consistently stays on top of the latest digital trends and brings new “out of the box” ideas to the table.
