In the midst of a historic time in the media industry, Bloomberg Media is growing its global footprint and reach through new innovations from QuickTake to reinventing live events. 
 
Bloomberg is expanding its audio offerings and looking for a driven and creative senior producer to join the team of an ambitious new daily podcast focused on the crypto space that will premiere in 2022. The senior producer will drive one of two production pods, made up of themselves, a producer and an associate producer, that will generate vivid storytelling and news on a quick turnaround. They will work in parallel with another production pod to feed the show’s demanding cadence while allowing their pod to work on longer-lead stories when appropriate. They will also work alongside reporters and editors on the growing Crypto team in Bloomberg’s wider newsroom.They will work under the guidance of a supervising producer who oversees several shows, and report directly to the head of podcasts. 
 
Responsibilities: 

•  Generate and solicit daily story ideas
•  Help guide producers to produce the best possible field and in-studio audio
•  Collaborate with the full team and ensure episodes fit with the comprehensive story plan and meet the show’s editorial standards
•  Write and edit scripts
•  Manage a demanding production schedule 
•  Coordinate with the wider podcast team, reporters and editors in the newsroom, and other stakeholders. 
 
Skills:

•  A sharp editorial ear
•  Excellent news judgment
•  4-6 years of experience in audio editing or production
•  Skilled in Adobe Audition
