Posted Mar 15, 2024 - Requisition No. 123836

The Team:

Security is a constantly evolving landscape with new threats and attack vectors changing how we both respond and prevent. To keep up with new threats we need to have continuous transparency into a wide variety of information from an endpoint. Coupled with the ability to quickly deploy changes to capture more information in the event of an incident and transform it into actionable data for the CSOC to respond to.

The Endpoint Security team is dedicated to protecting Bloomberg’s fleet of servers and user devices from both external and internal security threats. This is achieved by implementing and maintaining tools that provide the front line security teams (CSOC) the ability to monitor and react to those threats. This includes deploying Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) agents across the Bloomberg Estate consisting of windows, linux, macOs, cloud and appliances. The agents are responsible for querying, detecting, and reacting to security threats. The team also builds and maintains the agents control plane and data collection infrastructure.
