The Market Data Services team provides the platform that enables the rest of Bloomberg developers community to create and publish market data feeds that power all Bloomberg products. We are working towards evolving our existing platform to a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) for our market data platform. This will improve our high quality, high performance and low latency software to become micro-services components that are easily tested, deployed and integrated into Bloomberg software infrastructure.

Our team develops market data software that encompasses a wide array of asset classes ranging from US Equities, US Options to Foreign Exchange and more. We also continue to invest in enriching our market data storage system to make it flexibly expandable and scalable. We are constantly adapting to the need to store additional data in our platform due to new Regulatory and Exchange requirements, in order to provide our clients with accurate and complete market data.

We work collaboratively with high-caliber individuals in a cross-functional team environment. We also work with experienced engineers and management teams to design, develop and incorporate leading edge technologies that will best serve our clients' needs.

You'll need to have:

• 5+ years of experience programming C++
• Experience with object-oriented programming and C++ STL
