The Bloomberg Verticals Quality Engineering team develops automated testing solutions to ensure the overall quality of Bloomberg's Vertical web products including Bloomberg Law, Bloomberg Government and Bloomberg New Energy Finance. We build tools and infrastructure that support test harnesses across all tiers of our web and mobile applications.

We work with a variety of tools and technologies, below are just a few:

• Web Development (Ruby/Rails, JavaScript, Python)
• Data Services and Processing (Java/Spring, C++, REST, SQL/NoSQL)
• Test Automation Frameworks (Selenium, Robot Framework, JUnit, RSpec, Capybara)
• Cloud Infrastructure and Automation (Sauce Labs, OpenStack/AWS, Ansible/Docker)
• CI and Version Control (Jenkins, Git, Jira)

We'll trust you to:

• Define and implement automated testing strategies for various stages of the application

development cycle


• Integrate test frameworks with Continuous Integration and deployment pipelines
• Implement tools and processes to support quality metrics and provide visibility to stakeholders
• Collaborate with application developers to develop best practices and ensure overall quality

You'll need to have:

• A Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in Java, C++, Python or Ruby
• Proficiency in web application technologies, protocols and tools

We'd love to see:

• Experience designing and implementing a full stack testing strategy
• Expertise in software quality and testing methodologies
• Experience developing in a Linux environment
