Bloomberg LP has built a significant media business spanning digital, magazine, radio, television, and live event platforms across the globe. In the midst of a historic time in the media industry, Bloomberg Media is setting out to become the indispensable source for the world's most influential leaders.

Launched by Mike Bloomberg in 2018, the Bloomberg New Economy Forum is the premier gathering of world leaders and business leaders, focused on the challenges and opportunities presented by a fast-changing global economy and the shift in power to emerging markets and ascendant industries. It is chaired by former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and former U.S. Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson. The Forum’s mission is to harness the power of the private sector to address key societal challenges across trade, technology, climate, financial markets, urbanization, and inclusion. Through a collaboration with the McKinsey Global Institute, Bloomberg identified 10 ambitious challenges that coalitions of private sector leaders are working to solve, and received commitments from dozens of leading companies.

We'll trust you to:

• Collaborate closely with the C-Suite of Bloomberg Media and leadership of the Bloomberg New Economy Forum.
• Hire and develop a team that builds on the success of the inaugural New Economy Forum as we expand the forum for coming years
• Oversee and operate the Bloomberg SolutionsLab: Manage all communication and activities involving the companies and individuals who pledged to remain involved in partnering with Bloomberg on addressing these societal challenges
• Build a new institution within Bloomberg Media

You will have:

• 8+ years of work experience
• Deep knowledge of public policy and societal issues, with significant experience in government, social impact, or corporate social responsibility
• Excellence in client services and public speaking, with experience in management consulting or other professional services preferred
• Excellence in project management, with experience leading complex projects and partnering with senior stakeholders
• Strategic thinker and leader, with ambitious mindset and experience building and managing a team in a fast-growth, dynamic environment
• MBA, MPP, or other graduate degree preferred
