Bloomberg LP has built a significant media business spanning television, digital, magazine, radio and live event platforms across the globe. In the midst of a historic time in the media industry, Bloomberg Media is setting out to become the indispensable source of information for the world's most influential business leaders.

We're seeking a strategy associate to support Bloomberg Media's new direction. This position will have significant exposure to senior executives, an opportunity to own meaningful projects from strategy to execution, and a potentially rich path to career advancement within Bloomberg and the media industry.

Things you'll be able to do:

• Partner with senior leadership to identify, analyze, and accelerate strategies for growth, influence, and commercial success across all our Media businesses
• Drive structured analysis of complex business problems
• Support execution of projects across the business
• Create presentations and other communications for executives within Media and senior Bloomberg LP management
• Develop and communicate insights on the impact of competitive and industry movements on our businesses
• Support the CEO, Chief of Staff, and other Media leadership on priority special projects

You'll need to have:

• Preferred 4+ years at a top-tier management consulting firm, in corporate strategy at a leading company, or other analytical & strategic roles in media or related industries
• Demonstrated track record of success
• Excellence in all areas of strategy development, including project management, business analysis, problem solving, recommendation, and consensus building
• Excellent verbal communication skills and maturity around senior leaders
• Highly analytical thinker who finds structure, logic, and insight in complex business problems with limited supervision
• Top-notch quantitative, modeling, and presentation skills
• Quick study, with strong sense of curiosity and a desire to learn
• Desire to push self and others to be their best
• Entrepreneurial and bold in thinking and action
• Comfortable with uncertainty; able to make decisions in the context of ambiguity and able to manage & prioritize against multiple projects at any given time
• Highly productive with an ability to make significant progress with only limited oversight and direction day-to-day
