Your role:

As a Technical Architect/Product Manager you will be embedded with Engineering teams which deliver critical, open source-based, managed solutions including: Containers (k8s), stream processing (Apache Flink), databases (Postgres, Cassandra), caches (Redis), object storage (Ceph, Minio), message queuing (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and data technologies like Spark, Trino, and Iceberg. Representing the customer, you’ll help prioritize the backlog to grow our platforms, expand our user base and build out new products to fulfill our mission.

We'll trust you to:

• Develop a long-term vision and roadmaps for on-prem managed services
• Prioritize, plan, make decisions, ask the right questions, and understand how to manage resources effectively
• Interact with end users, interview them to understand their workflows and technical requirements, develop a deep understanding of an ideal developer experience 
• Drive and manage complex, strategic, cross-functional projects including building prototypes and testing
• Work with & support our talented Engineering (solution delivery) teams, foster a culture of collaboration with your Engineering counterparts
• Do the right thing; be part of a Product team and CTO organization that optimizes for the long term
• Be productive and comfortable making an impact and influencing in ambiguous situations

You’ll need to have:

• 5+ years of experience of architecting, automating and deploying to high-scale on-prem cloud-native platforms using relevant technologies
• 3+ years of programming experience (Python, Go, JVM)
• A passion for providing reliable, scalable, and easy-to-use infrastructure
• A product-driven focus, with product management, organizational, and communication skills to effectively coordinate and work with Engineers, other Product Managers, and Senior Management
• A strong technical or Engineering background, broad technical technical fluency 
• A track record of shaping business strategy and roadmaps for technical products

We'd love to see:

• Experience as a Technical Product Manager (products focusing on infrastructure, distributed systems, automation, on-prem clouds)
• Experience with:
• Public cloud
• Capacity planning and resource management
• Vendor/relationship management

Salary Range: 240,000 - 330,000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
