The Bloomberg Studio:

The Studio is Bloomberg's in-house creative group. We work on assignments for digital, print, environmental, interactive and broadcast projects. The Studio has outstanding writing, design, production, video and content capabilities. The Studio drives projects across the full spectrum of Bloomberg, rolling out campaigns both internally and externally. The team works across a global workflow, with staff in all our major offices.

We are on the hunt for a Contract Technical Producer to join the creative group from March to October.

The Project:

“Screens” is a multi-office, brand level design and content initiative. It takes advantage of premier large screens in Bloomberg spaces, and runs multiple “shows” as a vehicle for telling the Bloomberg story. The shows pull from Bloomberg’s wealth of data, news and content. The information is reformatted into a design system and runs both video and live, dynamic, real-time, data-driven content drawn from Bloomberg’s data feeds. The result is simultaneously typographic, info-graphic, photographic and cinematic.

We'll trust to you:

  • Serve as the Studio’s Lead Producer across the entire “Screens” project, led by a new London building screen, and followed by other “hero” screens around Bloomberg properties, defined by the Studio team.
  • Be the conduit for all content to the screen.
  • Become fluent in the production process for the entire life-cycle of asset development in Bloomberg - from conceptualization to delivery. This involves working across the Creative, Video Production, Project Management and Marketing teams to ensure seamless delivery of world class assets to screens.
  • Liaise with other technical teams across Bloomberg – A/V, InfoSys, Building Facilities, Global Data, Media & News, and Data Viz to facilitate production.
  • Connect to external vendors when required, for example, a team building a custom CMS for London screens.

You must have:

  • Hand-on skills in post-production (Adobe workflow)
  • Significant experience running a post-production team executing complex productions.
  • Good sense of creative judgment and an exceptional level of quality control.
  • Experience building teams to produce on-location, live action video shoots, interviews, and location/event coverage.
  • Experience running, and line producing, a shoot and orchestrating a crew. Productions will straddle the video/digital line and involve producing digital platforms.
  • The Producer must be comfortable working with these types of teams, technologies, and workflows.
  • Previous experience producing content for digital screens required.
