Contribute to an online Help system infused with the energy and drive of the iconic Bloomberg Terminal. The Bloomberg Financial Products Documentation team writes and produces Help resources that are vital building blocks of the Bloomberg client experience. We don’t just tell our clients how to use the vast integrated platform of functionality on the Terminal—we show them why the product helps them meet their goals when billions of dollars are at stake.
Our work integrates the acumen for writing precise instructions with the creativity and financial knowledge necessary to write tangible, benefit-focused materials. Our writers have the flexibility to switch on a dime from working on complex documents to generating quick, need-to-know content that our clients can absorb without missing a beat. As a collaborative working group, we’re known for mobilizing to get the job done and deliver expansive volumes of work to meet real-time business needs. There is a spotlight on our work, with the high stakes and gratification that implies, and our writers are up to the challenge.
Product Documentation sits within the Consistency & Discoverability arm of UX Design in Bloomberg Financial Products. UX Design at Bloomberg is an ongoing re-imagining of 30+ years of Product evolution, constantly striving to understand our clients’ needs and improve their experience.
Product Documentation is part of the larger Bloomberg culture: palpable without being overwhelming, the ethos here is about energy and ideas, teamwork, and performance. Our global headquarters in New York City reflects this decidedly un-corporate culture with a stylish, open and dynamic workspace. What’s the role:A contract technical writer to create client-facing user documentation specifically for trading applications available on the Bloomberg Terminal.
