Bloomberg runs on data. Bloomberg Intelligence "BI" takes that data and creates insight which drives financial markets. Our team of experts generates valuable written analysis, interactive charting, and functions which are published on the Bloomberg Terminal. Our work gives trading and investment professionals foresight into where crucial industries stand today and where they may be heading next.

Who we are:

Bloomberg Intelligence provides a comprehensive view of an industry and its key constituents and, combined with the power of the Bloomberg Professional® service, gives you unsurpassed depth and breadth at the sector, industry and company levels. Bloomberg Intelligence also offers valuable written analysis, industry data and interactive charting and functions from a team of independent analysts, giving trading and investment professionals deep insight into where crucial industries stand today and where they may be heading next.

What's in it for you:

As a Bloomberg Intelligence US Equity Strategist, you will be part of this fast growing global research team and responsible for providing research coverage of the US equity markets. Research would include periodic assessments of earnings trends, market and sector performance, and relative value. You will be responsible for thematic and timely event driven research and frequent publishing of important events that impact the market. Collaboration with the industry, credit, government and litigation teams is a key element of this role. You would find opportunities to co-author research with individual analysts and would be a nexus for research ideas that cross some or all research groups on the US team. BI does not make recommendations or estimates. But BI analysts and strategists arm Bloomberg users with the data and insights necessary to make market assessments.

You'll need to have:

  • A minimum of 5 years as a strategist with a major bank or asset management firm
  • Exceptional primary research and writing skills.
  • Excellent oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter, independent thinker and collaborative team player.
  • Strong organization skills and capable of handling multiple projects.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
