You’re a detail oriented individual who doesn’t let anything go unnoticed. You have a passion for controling on air graphics and thrive in a collaborative environment. We’re looking for someone like you to join the fast paced and dynamic Broadcast Operations team as a Viz Operator.

You’ll be responsible for:

• All on-air graphics including lower third banners, full screen graphics, sponsorship banners, locator bugs, event bugs, and keyable graphics
• Coordinating cues with producers, control room headlines writer, director, and technical director to ensure graphics reach air properly
• Proofreading and caching graphics making sure they are created correctly, drawn out properly, and fonts are spelled correctly prior to show
• Quick turnaround when troubleshooting including looking ahead in show rundowns and informing appropriate personnel of errors

You’ll need to have:

• At least 1 year of experience in live television or equivalent college degree
• Ability to juggle multiple requests for different graphics in quick succession via headset
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• Ability to follow reporters and scripts during show so graphics are fired in a timely fashion
• Flexibility to work varied hours, either early morning or overnight
• Ability to adapt and understand the flow of each show and how graphics are used accordingly
